About the winery

Two brothers, Clyde and Nigel Sowman, crafted Walnut Block as a love letter to Marlborough's finest, blending their deep wine industry roots with serious winemaking chops. Their certified organic vineyard is literally centered around Marlborough's oldest walnut tree, a 150-year-old beauty that inspired the whole operation and gives the place some seriously good bones.
