About the winery
Waipara West grows their grapes on these wild geologically fascinating river terraces in North Canterbury, and they're serious about handling small, intense bunches with care to make wines with real character. Their lineup includes racy Sauvignon Blancs and Rieslings, complex Chardonnays, earthy Pinot Noirs, and a blend called Ram Paddock Red, all 100% estate-grown and totally NZ-owned.
