Sapien is a boutique winery in Santa Ynez Valley founded by Trevor Bethke, who sources wines from exceptional vineyards in Santa Ynez and surrounding Santa Barbara County. With a Masters from UC Davis in Viticulture and Enology and international winemaking experience across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, Bethke crafts wines that combine nature, art, and science.
