About the winery
Sanctuary Hill Vineyard is located in Faraday in the Bendigo region of Victoria, named after the Koala Sanctuary on Mt Alexander above the vineyard. The vineyard was planted in 1999 with first fruit picked in 2003, and focuses on producing high-quality Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blends, and dessert-style Semillon using techniques like high planting density and minimal irrigation.
