About the winery

Nichol Vineyard is among the first three pioneering wineries on the Naramata Bench, with vineyards planted beginning in 1989. The winery operates on a small scale, farming all wines within 900 meters of the estate with minimal intervention winemaking focused on expressing terroir. Owner and winemaker Ross Hackworth emphasizes hand-harvesting, low yields, and minimal processing to let the quality of the grapes shine.
