About the winery
Eleven Eleven Winery, located on Trancas Avenue just outside Napa city limits, opened on March 21, 2015, in the former Barrel Stop Winery. The winery was founded by Ellie Anest and Aurelien Roulin, who met on a flight in 2010 and shared a passion for food, wine, and real estate. They later partnered with philanthropist Carol Vassiliadis. The winery's name, Eleven Eleven, symbolizes the randomness of life, with the clock on the hospitality center permanently set to 11:11.
The winery has undergone significant renovations and now features a state-of-the-art production facility that hosts around 30 custom crush clients. Eleven Eleven produces a variety of wines, primarily sourced from their two vineyards in the Oak Knoll District: Laki's Vineyard and Destin Vineyard. They practice organic farming and are certified Napa Green.
Winemaker Kirk Venge has been crafting their wines since their inaugural vintage in 2012. Eleven Eleven offers a selection of 14 wines, focusing on varietal bottlings that are designed to be food-friendly and encourage social connections. Visitors can expect a welcoming tasting experience in a modern facility that emphasizes the winery's unique story and commitment to quality.
