About the winery
Decibel Wines started when Daniel Brennan, a former music industry guy, decided to trade touring for winemaking after landing in New Zealand in 2008. He studied oenology in Hawke's Bay while working alongside top regional producers, then launched his own label focusing on bold Malbecs and Sauvignon Blancs from the area, plus award-winning Pinot Noir from Martinborough. This is what happens when someone actually puts in the work to learn their craft before diving in.
