Bodega Raffy sits high in Tupungato at the foot of the Andes, where they're making serious Argentine malbec from old vines (some over 50 years old) using seriously low yields and hand harvesting. They age everything in French oak, and their local franc rootstock malbecs have a distinctive character from those small, quality-focused grapes.
